Terms and Conditions
By booking an appointment with Shetlands Groom room, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Deposits and Payments
Deposits- All appointments require a non-refundable deposit to secure your slot.
No Shows- If you fail to show up for your appointment without notice, you will be required to pay the full amount of the scheduled service to cover loss of earnings.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
48 Hour policy- Cancellations or rescheduling must be done at least 48 hours before your appointment time.
Late cancellation- Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice will incur a charge of 50% of the full grooming appointment price.
Safety and Liability
Accidents- While extreme care and professional attention are always given, grooming involves sharp equiptment and unpredictable animal behaviour. Shetlands Groom Room is not liable for injuries to pets provided that considerate care and attention were made throughout the session.
Aggressive behavhiour- If a dog becomes too aggressive or too dangerous to groom, we reserve the right to discontinue the session for the safety of the dog and the groomer, full grooming charges will apply.
Health and Hygiene
Matting- De-matting can be painful and stressful for dogs. If your dog is matted, an extra £10 charge will be added. In cases of severe matting, the coat may need to be clipped short; you will be notified of this before proceeding.
Parasites (fleas& ticks)- If your dog arrives with fleas or parasites a £10 flea bath charge will be added to cover the cost of specialized shampoo and salon sanitation. Under certain circumstances, service may be refused until the issue is resolved.
Satisfaction and Feedback
24 hour review- We want you and your pet to be happy! If you are dissatisfied with any part of the service, please let us know within 24 hours of the appointment so we can discuss a resolution.
